• How to get to Donde Hugo Beach Hostel from Santa Marta.
• The bus takes 2 hours with buses departing every 20 minutes from 6am up until 6pm at the local market 'el maercado'. It is a white bus with blue and green details and a ticket costs 12,000 COP for the journey. Along the way you will pass Tayrona National Nature Reserve which is a perfect day trip but remember to get there early as they only allow a limited amount of entries each day.
• If you are traveling directly from Santa Marta airport you can either get a local SETP bus to the bus terminal costing 2,000 COP tot he center or get a 15 minute taxi ride to the local market 'el mercado' costing around 35,000 COP. We can also arange a private taxi for you directly from the airport, that can be around 200,000 COP.
• Getting to the hostel when you arrive in Palomino:
• After you are dropped off on the main road in Palomino you will have two options; The first would be walking 15 minutes down to the beach, we are the first place on the right side as soon as you get to the beach, and the second would be taking a mototaxi costing around 5,000 COP
