• Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport: There are three ways to get to Base from the airport. Firstly, you can arrange an airport transfer by contacting us in advance. A driver will meet you at the airport and take you directly to the hostel. Secondly, bus 109 departs every 20 minutes between 5:30 AM and 1 AM from the international terminal, stops at the domestic terminal, and then heads to District 1. The cost of the ticket is 20,000VND (90 cents). Once you reach the bus station, you can walk down to the hostel. Thirdly, you can catch bus 152 which is parked outside the arrival exit of the airport. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes and the cost is 5000VND (20 cents). The bus stops at a bus interchange opposite Ben Thanh Market, where you can get off and walk down to the hostel in around 10 minutes. We recommend using VINASUN taxi services if you prefer to take a taxi from the airport or you can use Grab. The fare will be around 200,000 to 250,000 VND and it will take around 30-40 minutes to reach the hostel. Just show the taxi driver our address.
• Arriving by bus: Depending on the bus company you use, they may drop you off at different locations in Ho Chi Minh. You can use maps or Grab to navigate yourself to the hostel located at 129 Đ. Đề Thám, Phường Cô Giang, Quận 1, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh.
• Arriving by train: If you arrive by train, you can take a VINASUN taxi (good value taxi) to reach the hostel or use Grab. The fare will be around 80,000 to 120,000 VND and it will take around 20 minutes.
• It's important to note that our reception is open from 6 AM to 11 PM. If you arrive after this time, our security guard will be expecting you and will help with your check-in process.
