• Zostel Munnar is conveniently located close to the main road, 5km before the Munnar KSRTC bus stand while coming from Kochi.
• By Bus
• Take a bus to Munnar and get down at the Moolakada bus stop, 2.3 km after the 2nd Mile viewpoint and 5 km before the main bus stand. If your bus does not stop there, you can get down at the Pallivasal bus stop, 500 m further. At Moolakada, take the road opposite to Tata Workers Creation Club (a brick building). 500 m down this narrow road, you’ll spot Zostel Munnar on your left.
• By Train
• Take the train to Aluva Railway Station. From here, a direct taxi costs around INR 3800. Alternatively, you’ll find direct buses to Munnar from Aluva (buses coming from Ernakulam follow this route). Get down at the Moolakada bus stop and follow the directions mentioned above.
• By Flight
• Fly down to the Cochin International Airport. Right from the airport, direct buses and taxis (at INR 3500 approx) frequent to Munnar. Another option is to take a local bus from Mattoor Junction, which is 8 km from the airport.
• Note: The road that approaches the property is steep and rugged, hence not ideal for big vehicles.
