• Getting to Dehradun/Mussoorie:
• From Delhi:
• - By Bus: Direct buses run from Delhi (Kashmiri Gate or Akshardham) to Mussoorie Mall Road, and can be booked online. The fares start at INR 800.
• - By Car: There are 2 routes to reach Mussoorie from Delhi. The first is via Meerut, Roorkee, Dehradun, Mussoorie (300 km). The second and the more scenic route is via Murthal, Yamuna Nagar, Paonta Sahib, Vikas Nagar (323 km). They both take nearly the same time (around 7 hours) to reach despite the 23km gap.
• - By Train & Flight: The nearest airport and railway stations are in Dehradun. The Jolly Grant Airport of Dehradun is 69 km from the property whereas the Dehradun railway station is at 44 km. Further directions below.
• From Dehradun/Mussoorie main town to Zostel Mussoorie:
• To get from Dehradun to the property, you can take a direct taxi for around INR 1800. Alternatively, there are a few bus options. From ISBT Dehradun take the roadways bus headed to Nainbagh or Purola (via Mussoorie) and asked to be dropped off at Banglow ki Kandi village, Kempty. The property is a 7-min walk (500 m) from there.
• A second way is to board a bus to the main town of Mussoorie from Mussoorie bus stand in Dehradun, which is next to the railway station. Alternate buses leave for Mussoorie library and Mussoorie picture palace, it would be convenient to take the bus going to Mussoorie library, which will cost around INR 50-70.
• Once you reach main town Mussoorie, you can either take a cab to the property (11 km) or a local shared jeep that shuttles from the Kempty jeep stand near the fire station at Mussoorie library to Kempty (it crosses the property where you can get off). You can also take a government bus from Mussoorie library to Kempty Falls and get off at village Banglow ki Kandi, Kempty.
• The property is 11kms from Mussoorie library, which is the main chowk where most buses and cabs arrive and which has all the taxi and bus stands.
