• Porters Lodge is located just off the Porters Ski Area Access road on State Highway 73.
• Turn off SH73 at the Porters access road, continue along the gravel road for approximately 6km. You'll reach the mountain staff accommodation block on the right-hand side. Just beyond this is the sign and entrance to the Porters Lodge. Turn off here and drive just a few hundred meters to the lodge car park.
• During winter, it is advisable to have a vehicle suitable for mountain road conditions and to carry chains at all times.
