The hostel's common-use area includes a TV room, a dining room, a cooking area, and a laundry room. The TV room provides a wood-fire heater, and relaxed seating about a DirecTV-capable TV. The dining room has four wooden, bench-style tables for ample eating space. Also included in the dining area, is a dated desktop computer. The Wi-Fi, however, is brisk and has exceptional connection speeds for the region. The kitchen comes in doubles of ovens, refrigerators, and sinks. Its open design and readily available appliances make it easy to use. The appliances are not modern, but serviceable. Outside, you'll find the garden area, which includes a parilla for cooking, and a foosball table. At the edge of the garden is the laundry room for hand-washing and drying clothes.
Summary
Puma Hostel is safe choice to spend the night. It has a good location, a filling and young atmosphere, and serviceable appliances. It does not offer anything exceptional, however, given its above-standard pricing.
