• Located an hour from London, 45 minutes from Stansted airport and one hour to Luton airport makes Rectory farm an ideal centre for visiting Cambridge, London and East Anglia.
• If you are travelling by car:
• 1. From London and the South via the M11
• - Leave the M11 at Junction 13
• - Turn left onto the A1303/Madingley Road
• - Turn 1st left at the Rectory Farm sign
• - Rectory Farm is the large house at the end of the drive
• 2. From the North, East and West via the A14
• - Follow the signs for M11 London
• - Exit the motorway at Junction 12
• - At the roundabout take the 4th exit
• - At the next roundabout take the 2nd back onto the M11
• - Then follow instructions as above from London and the South.
• The nearest rail station is Cambridge. There are direct trains from London (King’s Cross Station and Liverpool Street Station) and London Stansted Airport. A taxi from Cambridge Train station costs around £12–£15.
• Travelling by bus (From the Train Station):
• There are no direct buses from the rail station to Rectory Farm. The Citi 1, Citi 3 and Citi 7 bus services run frequently between the rail station and the city centre. From there you catch the Park & Ride bus to Madingley Road. The city centre bus station is on Drummer Street. Most bus services, including National Express coaches from London and many other UK cities, will stop here.
• Travelling by bus (From the City Centre):
• The Madingley Road Park & Ride bus station is a few minutes walk from Rectory Farm and buses run every 10 minutes between here and the city centre bus station in Drummer Street.
