• By Bus
• Most of the Citylink and Stagecoach buses pass right by the bottom of our driveway, and if you ask the driver nicely they will drop you there. This saves a 30 minute walk up from Uig Pier.
• By Car
• From Kyle of Lochalsh
• Head through Kyle of Lochalsh on the A87, crossing the Skye Bridge into Kyleakin. Once over the bridge, turn right at the roundabout, staying on the A87.
• Keep on this road, through Broadford and Sligachan, heading towards Portree.
• Before reaching Portree town centre, turn left towards Uig (A87). Go past The Co-op supermarket and head out of Portree. Keep on the A87 towards Uig, ignoring a left turn towards Dunvegan after a few miles.
• Once through the village of Earlish, you will start travelling downhill in to Uig, with the bay visible on your left.
• Look out for The Cowshed sign on the right hand side, just after The Mission Church.
• We are at the top of a steep driveway (use Manual 1st gear or Automatic Low) and are not in the village itself. If you reach the Uig hotel you’ve gone too far.
• From Fort William
• Follow signs to Inverness A82
• At Invergarry crossroads turn left onto the A87 and follow signs to Kyle of Lochalsh

• From Inverness (southern route via Loch Ness)
• Follow signs to Fort William A82.
• At Invermoriston, turn right onto the A87 and follow signs to Kyle of Lochalsh.

• From Inverness (northern route via Garve)
• Follow signs to Beauly, Muir of Ord, Contin and the A832.
• Head towards Garve, travelling on the A835 for a short time before turning left on to the A832 towards Achnasheen.
• At Achnasheen, keep left on to the A890 towards Lochcarron.
• Before Lochcarron itself, stay on the A890, turning left towards Kyle of Lochalsh heading for the A87.

• From Mallaig via Armadale Ferry
• Once off the ferry in Armadale, turn towards Kyleakin.
• At the roundabout with the Skye Bridge, go straight over, onto the A87 towards Portree.

• From Applecross/NW Highlands
• Head towards the A87 in the direction of Kyle of Lochalsh.
