• The closest airport to Ericeira is in Lisbon (about 35 minutes drive).
• A taxi ride straight to our door will cost you more or less 50€-60€.
• Other apps, like Uber or Bolt will be more like 30-40€.

• Bus
• From the airport you can take the metro to the main bus terminal Campo Grande (it will take about 20 minutes); if you're a couple of people or more it might be cheaper and faster to get there by taxi or Uber (about 5-6€).
• Buses to Ericeira leave approximately from 6.30am until 11.30pm; check the updated schedules at www.carrismetropolitana.pt (lines 2740, 2741, 2801 and 2803).
• The Ericeira Bus Terminal is located slightly out of town, on top of a small hill. You can walk to the Den (downhill it's easier!) in about 10-15 minutes. Otherwise take the line 2112 or 2127 that connect to the center of town: get off at "Av São Sebastião (Lgo Pocinhos)", it's like a 3 minute ride. Then walk on the main road keeping the ocean on your right handside, and you'll get to the Den in about 1 minute!
• Car
• From the airport, follow the indications for A8 Oeste. Take the exit n° 14 and follow Leiria-Loures. Take the exit n°5 Ericeira-Mafra-Malveira and follow the highway A21 until the end; make sure you have some cash (around 3€ for regular-sized cars), as the toll doesn't accept foreign credit cards.
• After the toll, at the roundabout take the third exit, following the directions to Ericeira.
• At the next roundabout turn right, taking Rua dos Bombeiros Voluntarios. The Surfer's Den is on your right hand-side at number 18, just after the bus station. Continue past the Den and you will find two small parking lots on your right hand-side and a bigger one on your left, in front of the mini-mall.
Sadly, this hostel has closed.
