• From the Sixaola Airport in Limón, continue to Route 36 (1.8 km), then continue on Route 36 to Route 256 (34.4 km) and follow Route 256 to Avenida 69 in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca (5.3 km) you will arrive at Pagalú Hostel, Avenida 69, Limón, Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Costa Rica
• From San Jose:
• You can take a MEPE public bus from Terminal Atlantico Norte, departing every two hours: 6:00am 8:00am 12:00pm 2:00pm and 4:00pm. There is also a bus at 6:00pm but that will arrive too late for check-in!
• From Puerto Limon and the Sixaola (border with Panama) there are buses running hourly to Puerto Viejo (2 hourly on Sundays and Holidays).
• Shuttles can be arranged from various cities to Puerto Viejo that will drop you off right in front of the hostel. These are considerably more expensive than the public bus. There is no shuttle from San Jose airport to here, only the other way around!
