• HOW TO GET HERE
• There are three ways to get to SunBoo Beach Bungalows. The first 2 ways go directly to Sunset Beach via boat and will take about 2 hours.
• Please be aware that between June and October the boats cannot always go directly to Sunset Beach and dock instead on Saracen Bay.
• Sunset Beach Supply Boat
• This is a longtail boat which brings supply to the island on a daily basis.
• The boat leaves the Pier Royal in Sihanoukville at 1pm and arrives at Sunset beach at about 3-4pm.
• The return ride to Sihanoukville leaves the beach every morning at 9am and arrives at Pier Royal between 11-12am.
• The ride can be quite bumpy. We recommend bringing water proof clothing in case of weather. This slow boat costs 10$/p.P. one way.
• Please inform us if you would like to take this option.
• “The Diveshop Cambodia“ Boat
• This boat is a bit bigger than the supply boat mentioned above.
• Meeting point for this boat is at “The Diveshop Cambodia“ office in Sihanoukville at 6.45am and arrives at Sunset Beach between 9-10am.
• Bookings must be made in advance. Please call +855 (0)977232626 to make reservations. The return ride from the island to Sihanoukville is between 3-4pm.
• This boat costs 10$/p.P. one way
• Speed Ferries
• These are usually more modern speed boats that need 30-40 minutes to reach the island but none of them stop directly at Sunset Beach, but at the islands main beach Saracen Bay.
• There are many companies to choose from but make shure your boat offers a stop at Saracen Bay.
• From Saracen Bay to Sunset Beach there is an estimated 30 minute path through the jungle. This hike includes a short steep part over a hill.
• The path starts at the Diveshop store which is located near the Orchid pier on Saracen Bay.
• Speed ferries go frequently throughout the day and cost between 12-16$/p.P. depending on what company you choose.
• We recommend not buying a return ticket in advance, as you will be limited to one company to choose from.
• If you want to travel lightly through the jungle you have the option of leaving some luggage at the „Diveshop Cambodia“ store on Saracen Bay, directly at the entrance to the Sunset Beach foot path and costs 2$/day.
