• Arriving into York by train (06:30-22:15)
• Upon arrival at York Station walk towards Platform 1, there will be a platform next to it which is not numbered although you will see a sign saying ‘Bike Parking A.’ Walk along this platform (there will be many bikes parked on your left) and walk to the very end of this platform until you can’t walk any further.
• From there, head right and follow the arrows on the floor. On your second turn, looking across the car park you will see a large ramp that takes you out of the car park, go up the ramp and exit the car park through a gate.
• Once at the top, turn left following signs to Holgate Road and walk to the end of the street. At the junction with the main road turn right, you are about half way to the hostel.
• Continue walking along this road for around 3 minutes, and you will cross over a bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue walking along the main road, and you will reach Astor York hostel on your right hand side after around another 3 minutes.
• Arriving into York by Train (after 22:30)
• Come out of the main station entrance and turn right. Go up and onto the bridge. Keep walking over the bridge until you reach the end and continue to the traffic lights.
• Turn right at the traffic lights, and walk past the Premier Inn. Continue walking past the first set of traffic lights, and at the second set of traffic lights turn right onto Holgate Road (follow the sign for Acomb, Harrogate, Wetherby).
• This is the street that the hostel is on. Continue walking along this road for around 3-5 minutes, and you will cross over a bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue walking along the main road, you will pass a church on your right, and you will reach Astor York hostel on your right hand side after around another 2-3 minutes.
