• From the Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport of Brasilia:
• By bus: walk 250 meters from the landing area exit, following the bus signs. Both options below should cost between 5 and 15 BRL (approx. 3 and 5 USD)
• Option 1: Take line 0.011 to Brasilia’s central busterminal (Rodoviaria Plano Piloto). There, look for lines 104.1 or 0.140 (Palácio da Alvorada and Vila Planalto) on the A-15 platform. Hop on one of those buses and, once in Vila Planalto, get off at the end of JK Avenue, at the point 3591 or 3592 (Acampamento Via Pacheco Fernandes). Walk to Avenida Rabelo, street where JOY HOSTEL is located. On the same street there is also the restaurants Tche Garoto and Braseiro and the daycare “Creche Pioneira da Vila”.
• Option 2: Take line 0.113 to the Esplanada dos Ministérios (Brazil’s federal administration hub). Get off at a point at the end of the S1 road, next to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (called Itamaraty). There, hop on lines 104.1 or 0.140 (Palácio da Alvorada and Vila Planalto). Once in Vila Planalto, get off at the end of JK Avenue, at the point 3591 or 3592 (Acampamento Via Pacheco Fernandes). Walk to Avenida Rabelo, street where JOY HOSTEL is located. On the same street there is also the restaurants Tche Garoto and Braseiro and the daycare “Creche Pioneira da Vila”.
• By taxi: leaving the landing platform, follow the signs to the taxi meeting point. Tell the driver that you want to go to Vila Planalto (Avenida Rabelo, casa 21). The Hostel is in the outer street of Vila Planalto, facing the large L4 Avenue. We are located near the neighborhood's daycare and restaurant Braseiro. The Taxi ride from the Airport to the hostel should cost between R$ 45 (approx. US$ 14) and R$ 55 (approx. US$ 17), depending on traffic.
• By Uber/Cabify: go up to the departure floor. Meet Uber drivers where passengers arriving to the airport arrive in the superior platform. The Uber/Cabify ride from the Airport to the hostel should cost between R$ 30 (approx. US$ 9) and R$ 40 (approx. US$ 12), depending on traffic.
• From the Brasilia Inter-State Bus Terminal
• By public transportation: Exit the station and walk 50 meters to the subway station (called Shopping Station). Take the green metro line to the Central Station, at the Rodoviária do Planto Piloto (7 stations away). There, look for bus lines 104.1 or 0.140 (Palácio da Alvorada and Vila Planalto) on platform A-15. Once in Vila Planalto, get off at the end of JK Avenue, at the point 3591 or 3592 (Acampamento Via Pacheco Fernandes). Walk to Avenida Rabelo, street where JOY HOSTEL is located.
