• From Barajas Airport by metro:
• It takes about 45 minutes and the ticket is €5 per person. You will have to switch lines twice following the directions we indicate: Line 8 (pink) towards Nuevos Ministerios until the end of the line (Nuevos Ministerios station). Once there, change to Line 10 (dark blue), going in the direction of Puerta del Sur, until you reach Tribunal station. There, change to Line 1 (light blue), going towards Valdecarros, until Tirso de Molina station. Once there take the exit “Calle Magdalena” and walk around the theater in the square to Calle de la Cabeza which is right behind the theater. We are number 11! Welcome to the end of the world
• From the Airport of Madrid by taxi:
• The trip will take about 20-30 minutes and will cost €30 (please note this is a fixed price from the airport to Madrid city center, so the taxi can never charge you more, or less. It also includes luggage, and up to 4 passengers).
• From the Airport of Madrid by bus:
• It takes about 45 minutes and the price is €5 per person. Frequency on daytime is every 15 minutes and every 30 minutes at night. There is a yellow bus (Línea Exprés Aeropuerto) that will take you from the airport to the center of Madrid and vice versa. You can catch the bus from any Terminal at the airport. The bus runs 24 hours a day. From 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM it goes all the way to the Atocha-Renfe Train station, but from 11:30 PM to 5:40 AM it goes only so far as the Plaza de Cibeles. It is better for you to get off the bus at the Atocha-Renfe station, but if your plane arrives very early in the morning or during nightime, you can also take a short taxi ride from Cibeles to 2060Hostel&Market (approx. €7).
• From Atocha Renfe Train Station by metro:
• It takes about 10 minutes and costs €1,5 per person. Take Line 1 (light blue) in the direction of Pinar de Charmartín until Tirso de Molina Station. • From Atocha Renfe Train Station by taxi:
• It will take about 10 minutes TIP: If you cross the avenue (instead of taking one of the taxis that are in line at the train station) you will save the €3,5 extra supplement they charge. Without the supplement it will cost about €5.
• From Atocha Renfe Train Station on foot:
• It will take you about 15-20 minutes to walk from Atocha to our hostel. If you have a suitcase you will probably want to try a different option, since it is up-hill.
