• Whether you're coming from the Puerto Princesa Airport, El Nido Airport, or El Nido Town, your destination is 'Nacpan Beach.' Every local knows it, and there is only one parking lot and drop-off point on the beach. From the drop-off point, walk to the beach and (facing the ocean) turn left. Mad Monkey Hostel Nacpan is located 150 metres along the beach. It is advisable that you bring a backpack with you; wheeled luggage will be a challenge as you will walk on the beach to get to us.
• FROM EL NIDO AIRPORT
• By Tricycle:
• Nacpan Beach is about 30 minutes from the El Nido Airport. The fair price for a tricycle from El Nido Airport to Nacpan Beach is Php400-600.
• FROM EL NIDO TOWN
• By Tricycle:
• Nacpan Beach is about a 40-minute drive from El Nido Town. Ask for 'Nacpan Beach.' Prices for two can be negotiated at Php500-700.
• By Motorbike:
• You can get to Nacpan Beach from El Nido Town by motorbike. Some of the key roads along the route don't have posted names, so we'd recommend having someone navigate for you while you drive. Here are the directions:
• 1. From El Nido Town, go north on Taytay - El Nido National Highway
• 2. At the fork in the road, turn left over the bridge
• 3. Continue until you see a red sign on the left of the road, by a tree and a wooden bridge that says 'Nacpan Beach'
• 4. Turn off on the left-hand side
• 5. Continue down the dirt road until you reach the beach's parking area
• By Shuttle:
• There are a few shuttle companies that travel point to point between El Nido Town and Nacpan Beach. These cost Php350 per way and Php600 when purchased roundtrip. Note that these companies only run on intervals from 9am to 7pm.
• FROM PUERTO PRINCESA AIRPORT
• Vans run regularly and directly from the airport to El Nido Town. Most terminate there, and you will have to then find a tricycle that will take you onwards to Nacpan Beach. A van to El Nido is typically 500php and takes 5-6 hours. From there, a tricycle (good for two) can be negotiated for 500-700php and takes 40 minutes. Some vans will continue onwards to Nacpan Beach, so ask the driver if it's possible for an additional charge. Alternatively, there are a few shuttle companies that travel point to point between El Nido Town and Nacpan Beach. These cost Php350 per way and Php600 when purchased roundtrip. Note that these companies only run on intervals from 9am to 7pm.
