Blue Diamond Guest House simply could not get better! You are paying for a hostel -- and paying very little indeed -- and end up with a hotel-quality accommodation with an amazing swimming pool, a cute little garden, and a spacious and comfortable dorm!
The Location
Amongst the backpackers of Battambang, Blue Diamond sets out to offer something completely different -- unlike other hostels, it is not located in the centre, encouraging you to spend your days sightseeing; instead, it is in the suburbs, in a quiet yet cosy location far from the hustle and bustle of the town. It is a place ideal for relaxing and it can be your ideal resting place between discovering Thailand and Cambodia. While it is indeed quite remote, you will still find small groceries and local eateries around, but the hostel offers meals on site as well so you definitely won't go hungry!
Rooms and Bathrooms
The beautiful and modern building is home to a huge number of rooms, some of which are dorms and some of which are privates. The dorms are extremely spacious, have a low number of bunk beds inside, and are cooled with excellent-quality air conditioning. You get your own key to the room and you can also pick a locker inside. Towels are also provided free of charge. The dorms are en suite; the bathrooms are impeccably clean and modern and shower gel and shampoo are provided.
Common Spaces
The best place in the hostel in its outdoor area, which includes a massive swimming pool that has both deeper and shallower sections and a net for playing ball games inside. The water is kept really clean and the whole area is maintained really nicely. Around the pool, there are a number of sunbathing beds, as well as some garden tables with parasols and chairs. There is also a separate magical garden that is an area full of hammocks and beautiful green plants. Moreover, the bottom floor of the hostel is also dedicated to socializing; there are a number of dining tables as well as a huge billiards table, which you can use for free. Moreover, on the different floors, you will find some other spaces where you can relax, including some balconies with nice views over the neighbourhood.
Summary
This place is excellent value for the money! While it is definitely not the best choice for those whose priority is to be close to all the attractions, if you need some relaxing days during which you just pamper yourself with quality services, pick this place and you definitely won't be disappointed!

• Most of are guest will come in from Siem reap by bus and we will pick them up at the bus station if they come in from Phnom Penh and we can have a taxi to pick them up and bring them to the hotel.
