Dream Hostel Bratislava is a new hostel offering a modern and comfortable stay on a budget with a handy location for exploring the city.
The Location
The hostel is located about a fifteen-minute walk from the Bratislava city centre, giving you convenient access to all the beautiful historic buildings and squares you can find around the city. Bratislava also has a great range of delicious restaurants and fun bars that you can find throughout the city centre. Supermarkets and convenience stores are also located near the hostel and the train station is just a ten-minute walk away. If you are arriving by bus then you may arrive on the other side of the city, but you can easily catch public transport to the train station and then walk from there. The hostel is located in a more residential neighbourhood so it is fairly quiet around the hostel.
Rooms and Bathrooms
You can find a range of different shared and private rooms at this hostel. Dorm rooms range in size from four to ten beds and are very comfortable and private with individual power sockets, reading lights, and privacy curtain. Each bed has its own large locker under the bed with a key provided by the hostel. During our stay in summer, the rooms were very hot and the window could not open very far to allow any fresh air in, making it quite stuffy. Private rooms are also available with either twin or double beds and some come with an en suite bathroom, giving you even more privacy.
Each floor has its own private bathrooms that are new, modern, and clean whilst giving you the space to enjoy a relaxing shower. The only issue is the sensor light goes off whilst you are in the shower, so you have to get out to reactivate it.
Common Spaces
Dream Hostel Bratislava has a big, comfy common area with plenty of space to relax and meet other travelers. You also have a bar which offers drinks in the evening and paid breakfast in the morning. If you want to cook your own meals then you can use the large, well-equipped kitchen to prepare some delicious food. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hostel and you can also use the laundry if you need to wash your clothes. Luggage storage is also available if you need to leave your bags whilst seeing the sights of Bratislava. The hostel also organises the occasional event, which is a great way to meet other travelers.

Location
On your way to the Obchodna Street you will cross the Socialistic park with a big Fountain Druzhba (“Friendshipâ€) in a shape of lotus – a must-to-see place in Bratislava. In 200 meters from the hostel you will find the Stefanikova Street with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. If you go along the Stefanikova Street you will get to the Grassalkovich Palace - the residence of the president of Slovakia and to the Presidential Garden. One of the main monuments of Bratislava - Slavin is in 20 min walk from Safestay Bratislava.
