The Location
Bunk + Brew Historic Lucas House is only half a block off of Highway Ninety-Seven. While that makes it easy to get to, once you're there, you quickly forget how close it is to the freeway since there's little traffic noise. There's plenty of first-come, first-serve parking since the majority of Bend travelers come by car. However, if you're taking another mode of transportation, it's easy to walk or cycle to, since it's just a couple of blocks from the heart of the city.

Rooms and Bathrooms
Both dorm rooms and private rooms are available. For dorm rooms, you have the option of mixed-gender dorms or female-only. All of the dorm rooms have bunk beds with linens and towels provided. There are lockers and other furniture where you can store your belongings.
The hostel has two bathrooms, one on each floors. They are similar to bathrooms in the average home, with plenty of space to change and set down your belongings. The hostel offers a deal to people just passing through where they can take a shower and do laundry while enjoying Wi-Fi and a brew. With both overnight guests and day visitors using the bathrooms, the hostel decided to build an outdoor shower house.

The downstairs of Bunk + Brew Historic Lucas House has a lobby, kitchen, dining room, sun room, and lounge. Every room except the kitchen has comfortable seating. The kitchen has space to cook and store your food in the refrigerator. There's make-your-own breakfast with the food they supply each morning. There's a book exchange in the dining room.
