People who work there were amazing and the ambiance is the best on the island. (Child by day and party at night) restaurant near by so a good place to stay

Great two days away and parties are the best in the island but also super chilled vibe all the time and quiet places. Best of both worlds.

This hostel is brilliant, a chilled vibe during the day and party atmosphere in the evening, with great happy hour deals from 6-9. The staff are great fun and the boat trip day out is quality.

Had the best experience at yellow moon! As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by the best, most friendly staff. Would recommend anyone to stay here if youre looking for a fun time! Great beaches and overall super chill time with the best people!

Amazing hostel! Great atmosphere, lots of fun! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel is right on the beach with a bunch of hammocks to hang out in during the day, and by night its just a short walk to go see the bioluminescence plankton! And absolute must on the island!

Had a really good stay here. The staff are class and love to get everyone drunk in the evening. Nice to chill in the day time and got a lush beach nearby. Boat trip they run was super fun but check the weather! The rooms didnt have an A/C or enough fans which made sleeping a bit sweaty. Would hundred percent recommend and hopefully return !

Great vibe at Yellow Moon but definitely not the cleanest hostel Ive ever stayed in! Some of the rooms are literally beach shacks and the toilets and showers werent the cleanest. That being said, the staff were all lovely, the food and drink was well priced and tasty and the boat trip was really fun. Good for a couple of days on the island.

Had the best time at Yellow Moon, staff were fantastic especially Katy and Josh. Rooms and bathrooms were basic but still good value for money. Location was fantastic, right on the beach and close to lots of restaurants and the pier

Great place right by The beach, had a wonderful stay! Every single member of the staff is smiling and making sure everyone is having a Good time, cheap strong drinks for a fair price. Music stops at 12 which is nice!

Great if your looking for a party, not great if after a long day exploring you want to sleep before 12am. Music can be heard from the room and was loud. Was the staff that was louder than anyone else. Toilets where dirty but I expected that being so close to the beach. Definitely better options on the island. But if your a solo traveler And want to stay up late I suppose I would recommend.

There is sand everywhere in the rooms, no internet, and power is turned off during the day - but since it is an island and the hostel is on the beach thats what youd expect. Overall a nice hostel. Very chill during the day and a partying place at night. Perhaps not the best place for a solo traveler as it can get quite boring during the day.

Great place for a good party and its right on the beach which is nice. The food is a good price and the staff are friendly. No kind of security for the rooms or lockers though. No power between 12-4ish so the rooms get pretty hot if you wanted a nap in the afternoon.

There are not enough words that I have to describe The Yellow Moon. Having stayed there for a little less than 3 weeks, it was the perfect idea of paradise. Chill days spent on the beach, and a boat trip every two days that is worth every dollar. The nightlife is fun, with a theme every night and an amazing staff who all want to make sure you have fun. The happy hour is perfect for travelers on a budget, and the bar closes at twelve and things quiet down. I recommend going to see the plankton

Parties every night, but they end at 12 so you can still sleep. The staff was really nice. Very good community area, and the hostel is litterally on the beach. We enjoyed our stay and ended up extending twice

Loved it that much I stayed and volunteered for 3 weeks. Beautiful setting, even more beautiful people. Made friends for life. If you want a different party every night please stay here. Abi, zen, Lin and Jonni are the nicest people you will meet. ESPECIALLY quiz night on a Tuesday, I will miss this place so much. Its a must go for travellers or anyone who wants to have a good time and party- the best place on the island. When I say yellow, you say moon. YELLOW.. MOOn. Best time of my life.

Nice location and very cheap. Good if you're looking for a party, bad if you're looking for sleep. Give yourself a lot of time for transfers as well - when we left the island the booking agent at the hostel assured us that 2 hours would be enough time to get to the mainland, accounting for delays. Of course the ferry was later than this and we missed our transfer - so we forked out even more for taxis. And make sure you bring cash with you - a 10% fee is normal on the island.
