Cheerful Hoi An Hostel is situated in a converted house in Hoi An, Vietnam.
The Location
The hostel is located on a relatively quiet, residential street, one block from a busy commercial street, Hai Ba Trung, which leads more-or-less directly to the Old Town, a twenty-minute walk away. It is about ten minutes' walk from the bus stop where the bus from Da Nang ends. It is about a ten-minute drive (or a fifteen-minute cycle ride) from the nearest beach. There are restaurants and other shops with a ten-minute walk.
Rooms and Bathrooms
There are four- and eight-bed dorms and several private rooms. Each guest in the dorms is allocated a locker with a key. There is a fan and air conditioning in each room. The rooms are kept very clean and are generally well decorated. Unlike in many modern hostels, however, not every guest has his or her own powerpoint or reading light, and the beds do not have individual curtains for privacy at night.
The bathrooms are standard for Asian hostels, with sinks, toilets, and hot and cold showers. Toilet paper is provided. As with the bedrooms, they are cleaned daily to a reasonable standard.
Common Spaces
The hostel has a reasonably sized front garden with a hammock, a swing chair, and other chairs and tables. Breakfast is served there. The atmosphere is generally quiet, but sociable. Bicycles for rent are parked to the side of the house.
The reception area is just inside the house. Further in from the reception area is a kitchenette, which guests may use on request. Free tea and coffee are sometimes available.
There are also two balconies on the upstairs floors, which are furnished with tables and chairs. The residential location of the property means that the balconies are usually quiet and good spaces for reading or otherwise relaxing.
Summary
There is good Wi-Fi throughout the hostel. An ample and very filling free breakfast is included in the room rate.
Overall, this is a good choice for those wanting a quiet stay in Hoi An, removed from the bustling and touristy centre of the city. The atmosphere is generally quiet and laid back, and those wanting a party hostel, or needing to be in the centre of the city, are likely to be better off elsewhere.

• If you arrive by bus plz call us or email us to collect you there with the welcome board for free.
• We are near the Hung Thanh and Queen bus company just 5 mins walking on the google map you can see us.
• Please don't follow any local moto driver or taxi driver they will over charged or cheat on you
• If you arrive by flight or train,we have transfer service from there for $15/way/4 seat. So plz give us our flight/train number as VN...BL...or SE...and arrival time to collect you there.
