Llullu Llama is a converted tradtional farmhouse with thick adobe walls which was completely restored in April 2013 by the new owners. The eco-hostel has a composting toilet outside, recycling of water for the garden and other wates and active heating systems. We also destinate 5% of our profits on accommodation to local development projects, so with your stay you are also helping our community to grow!
The hostel currently has 4 private rooms, 4 semi-private rooms and a dorm. Bathroom and showers are shared, but are very comfortable and clean. The communal facilities include a dining area, sitting area with wood stoe, cosy board games area, a bar and a lovely garden outside. In our cuisine we use mostly products like milks, eggs, vegetables and fruits purchased from our neighbors to stimulate local economy. We bake our own bread and our cook prepares healthy tasty meals.
The village of Isinlivi is a small (250 inhabitants) community with both primary and high schools, and a training woodwork shop turning out spectacular works in beautiful woods. We have great trail maps and hikes to local traditional markets, preInca remains, ridgetop antennas and rock outcrops, deep canyon valleys, lakes and local farms.
