1004 Penthouse is a tenth-story hostel located in the heart of Bariloche's city center. It offers breathtaking views of Bariloche, Lago Nahuel Huapi, and its surrounding mountains from every angle (including the toilet!). Its central location makes access to Bariloche's urban services very easy, and public transport to Bariloche's natural attractions at the doorstep. The common areas are spacious and well equipped, and the breakfast is above standard.
The Location
The hostel is situated adjacent to the Centro Civico, quite literally the city's center. The hostel's central location makes access to Bariloche's services and sites very easy. You can reach the groceries, Museo de la Patagonia, or the sands of Lago Nahuel Huapi in minutes. From the bus terminal, you have the option of taking a taxi , or city bus #20 or 21. Be advised, for public transportation, a SUBE (Sistema Único de Boleto Electrónico) card is required -- public transportation no longer accepts cash. Once entering Bariloche Center, you will be directed to the tenth floor, and to the end of the hall where the hostel can be found.
Rooms and Bathrooms
1004 Penthouse has eight rooms, all which feature panoramic views of Lago Nahuel Huapi, the city, or the surrounding mountains. The bathrooms are no exception either -- watching the lake's tides while brushing your teeth is a very relaxing experience! Both shared rooms and private rooms (matrimonial and double) are available, all of which comes with central heating and storage lockers. The six bathrooms available are shared, but meant for individual usage.
Common Spaces
The common spaces are spacious and comfortable, with ample seating and dining space available. The common spaces, especially the lengthy balcony, offer the most impressive views on the property. The kitchen is fully equipped and prepared for the inevitable dinner and breakfast rushes of shared living. Basic condiments such as oil, salt, spices, tea, filter coffee, and sugar, are all provided. Wi-Fi and a shared computer are available, as well as free luggage storage, a book exchange, and laundry service. Breakfast includes homemade bread, butter, cereal, marmalades, tea, coffee, and sugar.

Description
1004 Penthouse is a very special place to stay in Bariloche - Argentina... A lot of people have described Penthouse 1004 as "A Home far Away from Home".
Open since 1996 we have much experience in travellers needs.
Fully equiped kitchen, breakfast, dorms, double rooms, wifi, lockers, spacious common areas, english spoken, a lot of information!, etc.
The panoramic view all through the living and dining room is unbelievable!
It's difficult to explain how is "1004"... you have to see it with your own eyes...
