Crap!
ok so the photos look nice. well, this is not what you get. i was booked in for a week and left after two days. My room was rundown and disgusting. the shared bathroom was the worst in all the places I have stayed around the world. three out of six toilets was broken, the showers looked like you would catch something nasty if you touch them. The mirrors were cracked. the elevator buttons wouldn't work. it just was an unpleasant place to stay!
Liked: Location and cost Didn't like: nothing
Liked: Great central location and close to transport.
Good value
Good security
Good wifi Didn't like: No kitchen equipment.
No tea/ coffee making facilities.
Liked: Good security, location to most things, lots of space, wanted to show granddaughter where I had graduated
from in the 1970s. Didn't like: Long distance to washroom, residence under construction and a lot of material around, kitchen not stocked
Liked: It's located by U of T, which is a beautiful place to wander about if you have the time. The rooms are somewhat nice, there was a few stains on the wall but I don't expect much from a college dorm. Didn't like: The washrooms aren't the best. You only have access to a communal shower, so I'd recommend bringing a pair of flip flops to avoid fungal infections. The washrooms also have a weird smell to them sometimes.
Liked: The location to transit, close to downtown and close the hostel my son is star. Didn't like: Found it difficult to get into the bathtub was how to have a nice soak
Liked: The main college is near the TTC, nice trees and grass. Pretty clean Didn't like: I was in a different building Wetworth which I don't want to stay in again I wanted to be in the main building with no stairs due to my challenges, very inconveinent. I will not come on a holiday weekend again no one to fix a/c
UofT campus is beautiful and New College is well-located.
Liked: Room with a chair and a desk. Big window. Safe.Only one doller for laundry machine. Didn't like: noise from other rooms and hallway.Little bit cold.
Nice and quiet. If u are just looking for a cheap and clean place this is the place. If you are looking for a hostel, which this is not, go elsewhere.
Liked: It was the cheapest available choice. Good internet connection with access to lots of scientific journals. Didn't like: The elevator was broken during the whole week. The rooms were not properly cleaned before arrival. Noisy at nights.
Really good location and staff.
Would like to recommend U of T residence to friends.
college dorm, bathrooms are 30+ meters from rooms, keys don't work very well, construction every morning, drilling into bricks right outside all the windows, I think it will be going on all summer, and they failed to mention the construction on the website of course.
intialy a cold start, but after a week of confusion, we ultimately had a warm and pleasant ending...to say the least.
It is a nice, clean place in the heart of the city with friendly staff.
love the location, amendities are a bit old......but i guess for that price you can't ask for too much, I'd definitely stay here again for the convenience.
