• Transfer from Dana village to Wadi Dana Eco-camp:
• The journey from Dana village to Wadi Dana Eco-camp requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle. The pick-up point for transfers is Dana Hotel which is in the centre of Dana village, opposite the mosque. Please leave your car in the car park beside the mosque, and let Dana Hotel's reception staff know that you have arrived.
• Travelling by car from Amman:
• The journey from Amman to Dana takes approximately 3 hours. Starting at the 7th Circle, take the Desert Highway (Airport Road) south. After approximately 165 km you will come to Al-Husayniya village. As you pass through Al-Husayniya, you will see a bridge. Just before the bridge, there are signs to Dana Biosphere Reserve and Al-Qadisiyah village.
• Follow the signs (turn right). Continue straight until you pass the cement factory, and then turn left at the T-junction. After approximately 3 km there is a sign to Dana village. Turn right here. It is a 3 km downhill drive to Dana village. Just as you approach Dana, make a sharp left turn.
• Follow the road through the village until you reach the mosque. Park your car here. Dana Hotel is opposite the mosque. Please let Dana Hotel’s reception staff know that you have arrived and they will arrange your transfer to Wadi Dana Eco-camp.
• Travelling by car from Aqaba: The 180 km journey from Aqaba to Dana takes approximately 2 hours. Take the Desert Highway heading towards Amman, and after approximately 150 km you will come to Al-Husayniya village. Just before you arrive at Al-Husayniya, you will see a bridge, cross the bridge and follow the signs to Dana Biosphere Reserve and Al-Qadisiyah village.

• Travelling by car from Petra: The 60 km journey from Petra to Dana takes approximately 1 hour. Take the Kings Highway heading towards Al-Shobak. After approximately 30 km you will arrive at Al-Shobak. Follow the signs to Al-Tafilah. Before Al-Tafilah you will arrive in Al-Qadisiyah. After approximately 3 km there is a sign to Dana village. Turn here. It is a 3 km downhill drive to Dana village. Just as you approach Dana, make a sharp left turn. Follow the road through the village until you reach the mosque. Park your car here. Dana Hotel is opposite the mosque. Please let Dana Hotel’s reception staff know that you have arrived and they will arrange your transfer to Wadi Dana Eco-camp.
• Travelling by car from Tafilah: Travel south. There is a roundabout after approximately 20 km. Take the left (2nd exit) and continue along this road. Follow the signs to Al-Qadisiyah and Dana village. Ensure you follow the signs to Dana village and not the signs to Dana Biosphere Reserve. Drive to Al-Qadisiyah village. Just as you enter the village, there is a sign to Dana village. Follow the sign (turn right). It is a 3 km downhill drive to Dana village. As you approach Dana, make a sharp left turn. Follow the road through the village until you reach the mosque. Park your car here. Dana Hotel is opposite the mosque. Please let Dana Hotel’s reception staff know that you have arrived and they will arrange your transfer to Wadi Dana Eco-camp.
• Public transport from Amman to Dana: There is a direct bus from South Amman Bus Station to Al-Qadisiyah village (takes approximately 3 hours). If the direct bus has already left, take a bus to Tafilah Bus Station. Then change buses and travel to Al-Qadisiyah. In Al-Qadisiyah, get off the bus at the junction to Dana village, and contact us to arrange free transport to Wadi Dana Eco-camp.
• Public transport from Aqaba to Dana: There is no direct bus. Travel from Aqaba to Ma’an, and from Ma’an to Al-Qadisiyah village. Get off the bus at the junction to Dana village, and contact us to arrange free transport to Wadi Dana Eco-camp.
• Public transport from Petra to Dana: There is no public transport. Wadi Dana Eco-camp can arrange private transport for you from your hotel in Petra. This will cost approximately 30 JD (guide price only).
• Public transport from Tafilah to Dana: During the day, minibuses run every hour or so between Tafilah and Al-Qadisiyah village. Get off the bus at the junction to Dana village, and contact us to arrange free transport to Wadi Dana Eco-camp.
• Hotel and Airport transfers: Wadi Dana Eco-camp can arrange private transport to and from Dana, and throughout Jordan, including airport transfers.
