• Driving directions form the port:
• Drive out through the main port gates, go straight for roughly 150 metres, and then turn right and immediately left on Avenue Mohamed VI. Turn right at the traffic lights onto Avenue Youssef Ben Tachefine, and at the next traffic light turn right onto Avenue Mohamed V. Continue straight as the street becomes Boulevard Pasteur, Place de France and Rue de Belgique. At the second traffic light, take the larger road to the right (there are signs to Marshan and Kasbah). This is Avenue Hasssan II. Continue along Avenue Hassan II, with the cathedral on your left. After going up a steep hill, turn right onto Avenue Roosevelt. Drive past the football stadium, and the Institut Pasteur (both on your left) and then take the second turning on the left after the Institut Pasteur (Rue Kacem Guenoun), a winding street which will take you to an uphill slope and an imposing Arab-Andalus city gate, the Kasbah Gate. Park on the left before the gate, as this is a guarded car park. You can either ask a child to take you to Karim's house, but the best thing to do is to phone and we will come and collect you.
• Arriving from Rabat, Asilah or the airport:
• You will come into Tangier on the Rabat road, called Avenue Moulay Ismail. When you reach a very large roundabout turn right after the Bus Station, then take the left fork along Avenue Beethoven and Avenue Youssef Ibn Tachefine, and turn left again at the traffic lights along Avenue Mohamed V. You can either ask a child to take you to Dar Nour, but the best thing to do is to phone and we will come and collect you.
