• Using a Taxi
• Cabbing it down would definitely be the most convenient method to get to our hostel. Flag one down and tell the friendly cab driver to head to the direction of Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan nearby to the Kota Tua (Old City) area. You may enter the hostel compound via the main street or Jalan Pinangsia Raya. If you choose to take this option, bear in mind that Jakarta traffic can be very unpredictable. We would also like to recommend taking either one of these taxi companies (Blue Bird or Eagle/Express) as they have been known to be relatively more reliable than the others. Don’t fall for the touters at the airport or anywhere else.
• Using a Train
• The closest train station to our hostel would be the historic Jakarta Kota Station or locally known as “BEOS Station”. This station is one of the main train stations in Jakarta and connect passengers to other major cities on the island of Java. For more information, please click on the official Indonesian Railways website - http://www.kereta-api.co.id/. Train tickets may also be purchased via http://www.tiket.com/ or at any Indomaret convenience store.
• Using a Bus
• We recommend TransJakarta bus or the city integrated bus network. To get to the hostel, take the bus going to Kota from Blok-M (Corridor 1). Stop at the last terminal, Kota. It’ll be a couple of blocks away to our doorstep. If you are traveling from the Soekarno-Hatta airport, you may hop onto one of those Damri buses. Take the bus going to Gambir train station and switch to Transjakarta bus heading to Kota Harapan Indah – Harmoni (Corridor 2). At Harmoni Central Busway, switch to Corridor 1 and stop at Kota, the last terminal.
