• The below information is correct for 2022-23 ski season. Updated information for the 23-24 season will most likely be available in late October/Nov.
• Most likely you will be arriving to Hokkaido via New Chitose Airport (Sapporo’s main airport). The best way to organise a bus to/from Chitose airport and Niseko is to book it yourself.
• Option 1: The first option should be the ‘Chuo Bus’. This offers direct services from New Chitose to nearby Northern Resort Annupuri – approx. 5 minutes from Moiwa Lodge. They operate 3 services each way, and if you find one of their service times appropriate, it is a very convenient and speedy option, with wifi onboard.

• Option 2: If these times don’t suit, then another option will be to catch the longer duration ‘Resort Liner’ service. This service passes via Hirafu and other resort areas before arriving to Moiwa, so takes about an hour longer. • PLEASE do NOT book with the ‘White Liner’ or GoodSports bus company, as it will only take you to Niseko Village. We do not pick up from Niseko Village, and you will need to take a taxi from there to the lodge.
• Steps to follow
• Regardless of the bus company you book with, we will only pick up guests arriving in the Moiwa or Annupuri areas, so book your bus to Kanro No Mori hotel in Moiwa.
• The steps to follow:
• 1) Book your transfer at least 9 days before arrival and departure, as this is when most companies ‘close off’ their bookings to new customers. If you need to book inside this time, we may be able to assist - a 1000JPY booking fee would apply.
• 2) Be sure to allow at least 1 hour between the scheduled flight arrival time and the bus departure time. Your destination should be booked as Northern Resort Annupuri for Chuo Bus transfers, and Kanro No Mori for Resort Liner.
• 3) Once you receive confirmation, please email this to us at info@moiwalodge.com
• IMPORTANTLY:
• 1. Reception is closed between 10am and 3.30pm. If you arrive during this time, we will not be able to either pick you up, or check you in. However, you are welcome to leave your gear near reception and explore the area until we re-open.
• 2. We will NOT be able pick you up if you do not let us know your arrival time in advance
• 3. We do not pick up passengers in the Moiwa area after 10.30pm. After this time you will need to make your own way to the lodge. You will still be able to arrive to the lodge after 10.30pm.
• 4. If you require us to make a bus booking or alteration, a 1000JPY booking fee will apply per person.

• At the airport: New Chitose Airport is a nice, modern airport that has plenty to offer. After you arrive, collect your bags and make your way to the relevant bus counter. Once you are checked in for the bus, you should have a bit of time to pick up some cash and snacks for the bus. There is GREAT food on the 3rd floor of the domestic terminal.
• The trip to Niseko is approximately 2 hrs 45 mins from the airport depending on snow conditions (3.5 hrs for Resort Liner services).
• In Niseko:
• Arrival times to Niseko vary wildly depending on snow and weather conditions. When you arrive on the Chuo Bus or Resort Liner services, please let us know via a call or Whatsapp to our transfer number +81 70 4390 4988. A reminder – we do not provide a local pick-up/drop-off service between 10am – 3.30pm, or after 10.30pm at night.
• Another popular way to travel is via a rental car from their airport. New Chitose airport is about 2-2.5 house from Niseko depending on road conditions.
