The hostel located in the heart of the second biggest national reserve in the Golan Heights - The Odem forest reserve. In a small village, up on the Odem mountain, surrounded with all possible shapes of green (nature) and red (volcanic), the Golan Heights Hostel is simply love at first sight, another home for you on the globe. Buzzing with travelers from around the world, it is quite common to come here for a day and stay for weeks. With perfect access to the many hiking trails from our front door, we also make a great base for outdoor activities.
The hostel seems to attract a certain type of traveler – social, fun, respectful and adventurous with a love for the natural beauty that the area provide. A photographers dream, The 'Hexagon pool' is one of the places you really have to see to believe. The easygoing and fun environment at the hostel leads to memories and friends that last a lifetime. In the evenings you will find travelers playing cards and games, guitar and percussion, sitting by the fire, or having a beer on the top of Odem mountain, watching the sun sets. The Golan Heights Hostel will be the highlight of your trip and an unforgettable experience.
We grew up here on the mountains, before going each one on his way, many years of traveling the world, just to understand the beauty of the place we call home. we created this place for you to enjoy this treasure with us - NATURE, clean air, fresh water, good local wine, rich wild life.
In the hostel 3 dormitories for 6/8 persons (XL Bunk beds in spacious rooms), a big private room (double bed and bunk bed - up to 4 persons), a twin room with bunk bed and a double room with privet bathroom, big and fully equipped kitchen, big living room and many sitting areas- inside the hostel and outside on the big lawn or between the trees, Fresh linens provided in all rooms, internet and strong wifi, laundry service, books to exchange and great atmosphere :-) Beer, local wine and groceries for sale and of course our Free Pancake breakfast.
Non tourists & Israelis will be charged an extra 17% VAT

Location
• BY BUS: The nearest town is Kiryat Shmona and there are buses going there from all big cities in Israel.
• From Kiryat Shmona take line 58 (Kavey Golan / Golan Lines) to Elrom (1 hour of gorgeous nature so stay awake).
• From Elrom there are shuttles to Odem - 15 min ride.
• Line 58 from Kiryat Shmona to Elrom leaves at:
• Sunday to Thursday at: 10:30/12:35/15:05/17:35/19:30
• Friday at: 10:05/12:00/13:30
• Shuttle from Elrom to Odem (where the hostel is) leaves at: 13:35/19:15/21:05
• BY CAR: Use any map of Israel and drive north towards Rosh Pina (on the way to Kiryat Shmona). 3.5 km after Rosh Pina and the big outlet (on road 90), turn right at Mahanaim junction, look for the signs for 'Ein Zivan'. continue on this road (91) 23 km and turn left to 'Masade' (road 978). keep driving on this road, straight on the wasset roundabout, enjoy the forest by day, drive slowly by night, all the way to Odem junction - turn right. welcome to odem
