Modern features as underfloor heating, dimming lights, powershowers and modern kitchen add comfort to the hostels other features - good vibes and breathtaking views.

The spacious kitchen has an extendable dining table in a cozy corner seating up to 12 people, ideal for a group booking with your friends, 2 electric hobs / ovens, 2 fridges, microvawe, toaster, mixer etc are availble to provide a rich meal from westray's fresh ingredients ( famous steaks and fresh seafoods). The bunks are made from solid timber to fit a single bed matress, which is wider than the usual bunk size. each bunk has its own light, socket and bedside shelf.

The highlight of the hostel is its conservatory. Nets, sails, ropes and nautical maps gives the special atmosphere blending in with the panoramic view over a large bay with three Orkney isles silouetted on the horizon. sea, land and sky are on stage from this point above the western cliffs.
