• Note: there is NO coach access to this location after Balmaha. The largest transport allowed on this single track road is a 16-seater mini-bus.
• By bus: nearest bus stop is 8 miles away. Buses run from Balloch to Balmaha, then walk or taxi 8 miles.
• By car: follow the A811 to Drymen and turn into the village. Follow the sign in Drymen for the east side of Loch Lomond (B837). Drive past Balmaha and follow the road to the very end. The youth hostel is 12 miles from Drymen.
• On foot: follow the B837 past the Rowardennan Hotel, then go through the car park to the youth hostel.
• By ferry: services to Rowardennan from Tarbet and Luss are operated by Cruise Loch Lomond. Current ferry times -
