Dfeel Hostel is such a fantastic hostel -- it's got a great price, it's spotlessly clean, with friendly staff, and a quiet place. We love the decor and the openness of the ground floor reception/common area. If you want to be away from the busy craziness of the tourists, then this is the place to be.
The Location
The hostel is about a fifteen-minute walk from the beach and situated off the main road. The area is quiet and safe to walk around at night. There are plenty of little street food places in the vicinity and it's a short walk to shops and restaurants. Taxis are aplenty in Paton Beach, and it's not a problem to find one, as they are everywhere. You can also rent a motorcycle from the hostel.
Rooms and Bathrooms
Our four-bed dorm room is very large, with plenty of extra space for luggage. It's rare to find a dorm room or lockers this big. The lockers are huge, wooden ones, and we paid a deposit for the keys. Each bed is equipped with a reading light and electric socket; however, the reading light is not very bright, and even with the room light and reading light switched on, it's still very dim in the room. The beds are sturdy, wooden-framed ones, and the mattress is extremely comfortable. We received a towel upon check-in and the beds come with a comfortable, cozy duvet. The outer wall of the room is one big sliding door, which leads onto a little balcony. There isn't really enough space for a table and chairs, but it's nice to keep it open for fresh air. Once it gets too hot and humid for the open door, the air conditioner can be switched on.
The en suite bathroom is another matter entirely -- it's so small, you can barely turn around to get out again. It has hot water and a soap dispenser, but since there is only a curtain to the shower, you have to keep your clothes/towel on the basin. A person who is a bit on the bigger side might have a problem using this bathroom.
Common Spaces
The reception and common area are very large and spread out, with chairs and sofas in different areas on the ground floor. There are many areas where guests can socialize. One room has a large, black leather sofa and a big flat-screen TV. There is also a big kitchen area, where guests can enjoy complimentary coffee, but only in the morning until noon. Guests have access to a microwave and plates and cutlery and can eat at the very large kitchen table. In the one corner of the common area is a table with a few games. The Wi-Fi is fast and the hostel is very quiet. The reception supplies maps and tour information. Beer and water is for sale at the reception.

Dfeel Hostel, where the comfort meets budget, is located in Patong beach, one of the most popular beaches in Phuket. The alphabet "D" is pronounced the same as "Dee" in Thai which means "Good". Therefore Dfeel is representing a good feeling of the guests while staying at the hostel with a friendship and a story of an impressive memory. We are located in Patong area where there are plenty of tourist attractions, beautiful beach, shopping area and nightlife. The hostel's environment is not crowded and still within a walking distance to the beach, dining and shopping area. The access to Phuket Town from the hostel is also very easy and convenient by taking a local bus on the main road of the hostel.
We are serving both private rooms and dormitory rooms which have various choices in order to meet your personal requirement and budget. Our rooms are designed and decorated with a combination of retro-vintage style and fully equipped with standard facilities.
During your stay, we could arrange you a local tour, taxi, car/motorbike rental and other tourist information which will make your wonderful vacation easier. Our staffs are friendly and do the best to help all guests as pleasant as possible.
