Our Kuta EcoStay policies - how we walk the talk in a high density urban landscape:
1 minimalist footprint - your bedroom and separate toilet/shower are cosy and very well appointed but not excessive in size
2 room size is sufficient for two persons with a queen size double bed
3 your room is adequately ventilated by a ceiling fan as well as aircon
4 if you really don't want to use the built-in aircon, then you can save money and pay a lower room rate ( try the first night without aircon, you'll be surprised; no dry throat in the morning!)
5 your room is well insulated for a stable room temperature and to reduce noise pollution
6 we provide shading from the harsh sun rays
7 we use septic tanks to treat grey water and sewage
8 we encourage our guests to use the toilet hose and save paper and the trees; toilets are modern dual flush, of course
9 we ask you to help us recycle your garbage by separating it and put it in our recycling area
10 we ask you to use your sheets and towels for upto three days before we provide fresh linen; any sooner and theres a small charge
11 Sundays you can go mangrove seedling planting in the mangrove conservation area,get your feet muddy!

• Situated just 60 meters from the famous Warung Made restaurant located on Jalan Raya Kuta (main road towards the beach), Kuta EcoStay Guest House located on Gang Lotring is an ideal place to stay here in Kuta with other like-minded eco-conscious travellers.
• With our strategic location in the heart of Kuta close to beach, shops and restaurants, our guest house is located along Gang Lotring , a small laneway next to ATM Bank Danamon opposite the famous Warung Made restaurant in Kuta. Walk down the Gang Lotring laneway for 60m and Kuta EcoStay is on the left about half way along the laneway.
• Make sure to tell the taxi driver to go to Warung Made restaurant in Kuta situated on Jalan Raya Kuta very close to Bemo Corner intersection, and not the restaurant with same name in Seminyak. All taxi drivers know Warung Made restaurant in Kuta since it has been there over 40 years!
• Taxi should cost no more than Rp100,000 in cash from airport but you will need to negotiate. It takes just 15 minutes from the airport if no traffic congestion and taxi can drop you right outside Warung Made restaurant in Kuta which is on the main one way road going towards the beach. From this restaurant it is just 60 metres walk along the Gang Lotring laneway to our guest house.
