By car: - From Austria and Hungary via Zagreb. From Italy via Rijeka. State highway A1 (Zagreb- Split) is the fastest and most comfortable way to drive to Zadar - exit Zadar 2 – center Zadar – ferry for island Ugljan, town Preko. By car-ferry: Ancona - Zadar – if you are travelling from Italy the best way is by car-ferry (Ancona- Zadar). It takes about 8 hours (usually the ferry leaves at 22:00, and arrives at 06:00). This is the easiest and the most stress-free way to come to Zadar. By bus:Zadar is the centre of North Dalmatia and well connected to all Croatian cities and European metropolises. By Plane: Zadar Airport (www.zadar-airport.hr), is well connected with important Croatian and European cities and only 10 minutes drive from Zadar. Ferry from Zadar to island Ugljan, ferry port Preko, drive 15 times a day. The ferry ride takes approximately 25 minutes and it costs around 2 Euro/person as well as 15 Euro/car. When the ferry arrives in Preko, you can go with the main island road (baring to the left for Kali) After 1 km you will reach the entrance of the Kali and Tourist office (on the right) where you will turn left for the bay of Mala Lamjana. Our house is located at the beginning of the bay. Anyway, we usually wait for our guests at the ferry port Preko.
