The youth hostel "Platzhof" is located 6 km out of the next town Kandern. You will find it in the middle of pastures and little creeks. It is also a farm with a lot of animals like ponys, horses, dogs, cats, sheep and goats. It is perfect for families with children or groups of kids. Older visitors find a lot of sightseeing possibilities nearby.
For the guests we offer different horse riding programm. Lessons, western riding, trail rides, pony rides for little kids and group activities with the horses. The lessons can be hold in english.
The youth hostel is also close to France and Swizzerland (30 minutes with the car to the border).
