In the natural park of polvese island, right in the middle of trasimeno lake, here it's situated the old mansion of "fattoria il poggio". the construction it's been recently renewed and provided with the best systems of depuration and energy in the total respect of the island's needs. polvese island is, in fact, a laboratory for environmentresearches, a flora's protection and developmentoasis and also the refuge of many different kinds of birds of the lake.
the hostel "fattoria il poggio" it's a unique and very quite corner with a beautifulview over the lake, where the simplicity of the services, typical of a youth hostel, together with a simple and genuine kitchen, offer the opportunity to stay in a very nice and friendly at a reasonable price.
