We also offer Specialized Spanish courses allowing students to focus on a career-related or personal topic of interest. These topics include Medical Spanish, Business Spanish, Spanish for Law Professionals, Household Spanish, Spanish for the Construction Industry, Ecological Spanish, Nautical Spanish, Spanish for the Tourism industry, Spanish for Teachers, Spanish for Children (3+) and Spanish & Latin American Culture. We also offer Specialized Spanish courses to prepare students for OTEIMA or DELE Exams.
TURRIALBA
Turrialba is a typical small “Tico” town located in the mountains 65 km east of San Jose. In the center, you can find a few hotels, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, discos, swimming pools, banks, internet cafes, a post office and several gyms. Because of its non-touristy atmosphere Turrialba is a great place for people who are looking for an authentic experience involving meeting Ticos and Ticas. Every Friday and Saturday you can visit the farmers' market in the town center where you will find a wide range of fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese and other authentic home-made products.

• Turrialba is a quiet and nice village 65 km east from San Jose. The people are very friendly and barely speak Spanish. The town has everything you need, including supermarkets, restaurants, internet cafes, a nice park and a number of bars. The town is surrounded by mountains and the active Turrialba volcano.
• The Spanish by the River - Turrialba Hostel is located in the mountains on a 5 minutes bus ride from the city center. You can also take a taxi or walk to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Since the hostel is a little up the mountain the air is colder and less dense.
