The Seaside Hawaiian Hostel is the most centrally located of all the hostels in Waikiki. We are a family-run business tucked away in the heart of Waikiki and offer the nicest communal area and courtyard of any hostel in Waikiki, the 'Green Oasis' with the Seaside Coffee Bar and 500+ channel multi-media TV/DVD/Stereo. We have BBQ's twice a week on our professional BBQ, featured hikes, and local tours to the Bishop Museum, Honolulu Academy of Arts / Shangri La and Downtown Tours.
Within a five minute walk, you will find yourself at world famous Waikiki Beach, the International Marketplace, the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, and numerous ethnic restaurants. The beautiful Ala Wai Canal, Waikiki's most popular jogging spot, is just ½ block away from our front door and offers jogging and walking courses. When you are ready to explore further, a major city bus-stop is just steps away and with a $20 four-day pass, presents unlimited travel throughout Oahu.
Even though we are close to the bustling center of Waikiki, the Seaside Hawaiian Hostel offers a quiet place for the independent traveler to unwind. Our enclosed Banyan courtyard with its native foliage provides an island of tranquility where guests can mingle and enjoy board games, our paperback & DVD library or cable TV.
Our two story hostel provides clean guestrooms, both private and dormitory-style. We have a full kitchen with well-stocked spice cabinet and refrigerators for guest use and offer a number of complimentary services such as breakfast, coffee or tea, high speed internet access and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
