A quiet and friendly place to stay while visiting Valladolid. The LocationThis well run hostel is located very close to the center town square, just a few blocks from the ADO bus station. It was easy to find and is in a great location for your time in Valladolid. The hostel is located adjacent to a quiet little public park, Parque de Candelaria. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and markets all with in easy walking distance from the hostel. Rooms and BathroomsThere are a variety of rooms to choose from. There are dorms, private rooms or rooms with ensuite. Private rooms have good locks on the doors. Lockers are also available in the building. The shared bathroom facilities provide privacy and separate shower rooms with space for your things are clean. There are many located throughout the property. There are hand washing sinks located also near the bathrooms and throughout the property with soap dispensers. A standard double room provides simple accommodation with a double bed, table and one chair. The room has a safe box, good lighting and a ceiling fan and window for good ventilation. There are two shared kitchens, one is in the building and one under a palapa. Both kitchens have multiple work surfaces and hot plates. It is set amongst beautifully maintained wild gardens. There are many colorful tables and chairs, with electrical outlets nearby to keep your electronics charged. You will find plenty of shade to hide from the sun and an area at the back of the garden with several hammocks for your afternoon siesta. SummaryThis property with its beautiful gardens is a great place to mingle with other international travelers, tell stories and share ideas for future travels Each morning there is a free breakfast the menu rotates around a few different items such as scrambled eggs or French toast, fresh fruit, good bread, jam, cereal and coffee. The hostel is wonderfully laid back and on our visit we found a good mix of young people and well seasoned travelers. We highly recommended this place when you are in Valladolid. It is an oasis from the bustle of traveling and a good place to recharge.
Wonderful as always
Loved it! It's been my 4th time there and just love it. Things are well maintained and staff is friendly as always. I will totally stop there again.
Great customer service/Great for the money
Highly recommend it.
I stayed one night. Very good accommodations.
Very lovely. Friendly folk and delicious breakfast included. I will be back!
I loved the hostel and Valladolid!
I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It is located very close to the city center and the bus station (perfect location for me), and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was not huge but nice and clean. Breakfast was included in the price and it was ok (much, much better than I could have expected for this price). If I ever came back to Valladolid, I would choose this hostel again -- good quality at a very reasonable cost. And Valladolid is a lovely town, very tourists-friendly, definitely worth to visit!
Excellent for a hostel
Excellent staffs and facility. Very good in every aspects for a hostel but unfortunately, hot water was not reliable in the room we stayed in (four people with en suite bath). we stayed there for three nights. staff tried to rectify the problem but with no avail. Until the hot water issue is rectified, they should not be renting the room out as en suite bath, as we need to use the shared bathroom.
Very nice hotel!! Lots of plants in the backyard which is nice since its located in a city!
