The Waterfront Hostal, English Harbour

• There are many ways to make your way to The Waterfront once you arrive in Antigua! For your convenience, we have outlined them below.

• Regardless of how you come, keep an eye out for this building! The Waterfront occupies the top floor of 'The Compton Building', which is yellow and on the left side of Dockyard Drive just as you come into to the main Harbour area. The best points of reference are our downstairs neighbors, Budget Marine yacht chandlery and OnDeck sailing school.

• Once you arrive at the building, use the stairs on the right side of the building to enter your home away from home!
• Taxi:
• Taxi is the easiest mode of transportation from anywhere on the island to English Harbour.
• It is not the cheapest option -> please read about the Bus below for the most economical way to get around our island.
• While you can find a taxi at the curbside upon arrival to Antigua's VC Bird International Airport, we recommend scheduling a ride ahead of time. You will be greeted in side and assisted with your luggage, for the same price as waiting in line at the airport taxi stand.

• Bus:
• Many of our guests find it easy enough to take the bus from the airport to English Harbour. It does require changing buses at the main bus terminal in St John. Please note: We do not recommend taking the bus for any late night airport arrivals as buses do not run regularly past 7pm.

• The bus system in Antigua is fairly easy and straight forward. You can get picked up and dropped off right in front of The Waterfront.

• From the St John main bus terminal you take the N17 bus to English Harbour. Get off at
• The Compton Building - Yellow Building with Budget Marine on the ground floor.
• The stairs to The Waterfront are located on the right side of the building.
