Perfect Fit
Our stay at the lodge was a perfect fit for our needs. It is centrally located and easy walking distance for most things, and for my mother, when the walking got too much for her it was a short cab ride to and from the lodge. Judi is a warm and welcoming hostess and the lodge is well equipped to answer most questions a traveler might have about the area. We had a great time -- thanks Judi!
Fantastic, little, homey hostel
My girlfriend and I stayed at Falmouth Lodge Backpackers on 16th February 2012. We had a wonderful stay in a hostel that resembles a home. Judi, the owner, made us feel more than welcome. We stayed in the attic at the top of the house -- a romantic room with character. We'd recommend this little gem of a home by the Cornish sea to anyone. We'll be back. Thanks Judi. What a place.
A real home from home, marvellous
If I were a rich man able to afford expensive hotels then I would still stay here. Its a fabulous welcoming place and for some reason all the guests are as great as the owner, the place has a magnetic attraction for lovely people. Friendly warm and welcoming -- more than just a hostel. great information available on the surrounding area and the Judi your host is a wealth of information on stuff to do and the computer she provides with internet access was a godsend when my laptop broke. Will definitely stay again if she will have me.
Very nice place with fair prices
The FLB is a really nice place to stay. It is 3 min to walk to the seaside and 15 min to the centre of Falmouth. It is located in a quite area of the city. The house has different accommodations, a charming kitchen with an aga, living-room with TV, DVD and internet access. The host Judy is very charming and caring and really wants her guests to feel comfortable.
Great location (only minutes from the train and beach), Comfy, Clean!
Judi runs a very warm, welcoming hostel. It is exactly the environment I want to be in after a long day hiking and battling the elements. Judi is a traveler and a kindred spirit to everyone open to adventure. She has a wealth of information about the area. The rooms are ideal, beds comfy, and I particularly loved falling asleep listening to the ocean and wind howling outside my window. Have fun!
Clean, friendly, very warm, accomodating, homey
the best hostel we have stayed in. Very clean, friendly, warm, homey. the owner and her family are very friendly and more than happy to help with local knowledge of pubs, restaurants, tourist attractions, and close towns. we would recommend anyone to stay here.
