• Most people arrive in Guilin before coming to Yangshuo, because it has an airport and train station. From Guilin it is 65 km to Yangshuo. We can organize a private taxi pick-up from the airport or the train- and busstation. It will take about 1,5 hours to reach the 'Giggling Tree'.
• When you come by bus to Yangshuo you will find several taxis, minibuses and/or motorbikes to get you to our place. They wait at the taxi-stand, near the EXIT of the bus station. Taxis usually charge 30 RMB for the ride. If you are able to find a tuktuk they mostly charge 20 RMB and a motorbike-driver will charge between 10 and 15 RMB.
• Try to get one of our business cards or have it printed out from our website www.gigglingtree.com . On the backside you will find a small map of the area showing you how to get to our place. Or take our phone number, show it to the taxi driver and we can explain how to get here. But nowadays most drivers know the Giggling Tree.
• BE AWARE; Sometimes touts try to get you off the bus, before you reach the real bus station. Even the bus driver is involved. Don't get off until you arrive at the actual bus station. You will know once you get there - it is very obvious. We have nobody working for us over there, so anyone claiming to be our manager/friend is simply trying to mislead you. They want to take you to some other hotels.
