• 2. On Fridays you can take the early Maritime Bus to Wolfville. From there you can switch to Kings Transit all the way to Digby for only $3.50 exact change, just ask for a transfer ticket once you get on the Kings Transit bus. It will take a while, but it is cheap and the route is scenic. From Wolfville to Digby is about 4 bus-hours and you will switch buses a few times. The buses link up seamlessly and wait for each other. Be aware that Kings Transit is not available on Sundays and Holidays. Get off at the Scotiabank on Water Street, 200 meters walking distance from us, and turn right onto First Avenue. As you walk by the fire department you have 2 options: take the driveway that is between the 2 fire department buildings (this is our back driveway) and simply walk to the front of the house to check in, or walk past the fire department and turn left on Prince William Street. Then walk past the Grace United Church and the Family Resource Centre. Turn left after the Family Resource Centre onto Queen Street, we are then the first house on your left.
• 3. If Mariner Shuttle is full, there are other daily shuttle services that can pick you up from Halifax (right from where you are staying) and drop you off right at our front door. Most of these shuttles would leave Halifax between 2 and 3 pm, arriving in Digby at around 6pm. Bernie's Shuttle, Kathleen's Shuttles and Tours and Nelson's Shuttle are some of them. Rates vary from $60 to $75 one-way.
