Relaxing Tranquility with a Superb Garden and Grounds A nice place if you need to be in the centre of Quatre Bornes for the shopping and other Business including medical matters. The grounds and garden are very relaxing and ideal for meditating for some quiet moments. The staff are helpful and friendly. rooms serviced and cleaned daily and were basic but comfortable. Within walking distance to the Casino (Ti Vegas) and Market, which is a must see on Thursdays and Sundays. A new private Medical Clinique within five minutes' walking distance from the hotel. Some excellent value for money Restaurants in the area both Indian and Chinese notably the Dragon Vert and King Dragon. About five minutes' drive with no traffic to the Trianon shopping centre with all major shops such as Game, Shopright, and an excellent food court with KFC, Debonairs Spurs and Indian and Chinese restaurants. Overall a convienient and very reasonably priced room rates with a warm and welcoming hospitality. Why bother with the expensive four or five stars when this charming small hotel has style and class of its own.

What a wonderful hotel! I just got back from a two-week prac/holiday in Mauritius where I got the opportunity to teach in a local school for eight days with twenty-two other Edith Cowan University students! El Monaco is right in the hustle and bustle of Quartre Bornes, it's walking distance to all the local shops, restaurants, nightlife, and not forgetting the unforgettable markets on Thursdays and Sundays! I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the workers at the hotel are so dedicated to help their clients and guests out using 110% of their time and efforts. Who could have guessed that behind the movie theatre is the El Monaco Hotel -- a hidden secret within the town where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of the street and walk in their luxiourous gardens, or lounge around the pool.
