Description

Inn Long Street is a small, personal, friendly and clean backpackers offering a full range of accommodation from 6-bedded dorms to luxury en-suite doubles with a private bath and toilet.
At the beginning of 2005 we renovated our premises so everything is fresh and clean. We provide you with clean bed linen and a duvet and pillow. We have a large self-catering kitchen with oven, stove and microwave, fridge/freezer, and a all the necessary eating utensils. We do not provide meals but we do provide tea, coffee, milk and sugar.
Other facilities include internet access on site, satellite television and 24 hour access to the property.
We also run a travel desk from the Inn and can assist with any travel needs from airport transfers to car hire to daytrips to overland tours!
We also organise airport transfers on request.

In our second trip through Africa, this turned out to be what we think was the best hostel of both trips -- clean, tidy, great people. Nicky and Sean were awesome, so helpful, and the actual hostel is so welcoming -- the type of place that's easy to hang out in for a week. Quieter than likes of long street backpackers and the rooms although quite small were great. Would be back there tomorrow if we were in Cape Town again, not a party place but sh*t that's nice after a while.

Very noisy — the rooms are close to clubs, etc., which keep going 'til the early hours. The atmosphere's a bit dead and not nearly as friendly or welcoming as other places. Sean is helpful, but having visited some of the places he suggested, I thought he gave some dodgy recommendations (he said to stay at Abalone Beach House in Plettenberg Bay...Don't, it's horrid. He also said there's a bus from the V&A waterfront to the beach — there's not, that we could find anyway). And the rooms aren't up to much, or the cleanest.
