A lot of potential I feel like this hostel was once a lot better. The manager is very very nice, but it seems as if he really doesn't care that much about his business these days and it has become very run down and shabby. Most of the amenities listed aren't actually available. it felt like a hostel that had been closed for two years and then just opened up again without being refurbished at all. That said, I never felt unsafe there -- it is in the middle of nowhere, but a very beautiful nowhere. and the beds were comfortable. this would be an ok place to crash if you were really tired from driving or if you planned on camping and got rained out. hopefully, someone will buy it and turn it into something great. judging by the comments, I hope that it turns back into what it used to be. the showers don't work very well and neither does the pay phone.

We arrived even when the place was full last summer, but the host did everything he could to accommodate us!! Thanks :)
