I stayed in Flock Hill en route to the West Coast October 20, 2005. The cottage I stayed in was clean and warm. It would be good for a group travelling together. There were two bedrooms (double and single, three singles) and a single bed in the lounge area. We have two toddlers and it was ideal. Unfortunately we didn't have the best of weather whilst here so the views were covered in the wet stuff! I would stay here again. I didn't eat at the restaurant so I couldn't comment on it. We flew into Christchurch, picked up a car, found a supermarket and stocked up. The kitchen is more than adequate to cope with spaghetti bolognaise!
