If you're a serious backpacker you'll get on fine here. It's a bit grubby but it's still a cheap bed. If you ask the owner (Douglas) any question he will tell you his life story, so just steer clear of him and you'll be right. He likes the phrase "in that instance" and he says it every 10-20 seconds. He's a very weird bloke but he does know a thing or two about a thing or two. If you're poor then go there, if you have a little spare cash, go to the City Metro Hostel.

This place sucks. The manager, Douglas Snare, is a psycho. The rooms are dirty; same with the toilets. I recommend no one ever stay here. It's like a bloody haunted mansion.

No meals are provided so I don't know about the food, but the kitchen was fine. The manager is a bit eccentric, but I got on okay with him. There's lots of room. The showers were six minutes for ten cents. I like long showers, so it cost me 30 cents. The bathrooms were clean when I was there. The place was not too bad all around, really. :) The managers were very helpful.

The rooms are dirty and the food is not so good, and the man is kind of freaky, but once you get your own stuff into the hostel it is not so bad. But the showers are very short, and the bathrooms have a weird smell to them. The lady who owns the place is very nice, and so is the other couple who work there.
