Hostel Villa Angelina Old Town is a clean and friendly hostel that offers a social and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for travelers (solo and group) who want to be centrally located and enjoy the happening vibe of the historic Old Town.
The Location
Hostel Villa Angelina Old Town is very well located within the walls of Old Town Dubrovnik. It is an excellent location from which to pick up the vibe of the town. The hostel is located across several buildings (all within Old Town) and gives guests a great opportunity to experience Old Town. The reception is easy to find and easily reached from the bus station, by bus from the port, or by taxi from the airport.
The neighbourhood feels very safe and is well lit at all times. There are a lot of people in the area enjoying the nightlife and the day-to-day life. The hostel feels private but not isolated. Shops and restaurants are found literally at the doorstep of the hostel.
Rooms and Bathrooms
As the hostel is quite large, the dorms are spread over several buildings within Old Town; all locations are great. The front door to the hostel as well as the dorm rooms are all lockable. There are lockers available (you must provide your own lock), but they are not large enough for a seventy-liter backpack, instead offering just enough room to fit personal valuables. There is limited space for backpack storage, especially for those who are on top bunks. There are ample amounts of male/female showers and toilets available to be used by guests. These rooms are cleaned daily. The hostel provides towels and linen for each guest and bathrooms have hand towels and soap.
Common Spaces
The kitchen is large enough for more than one person to use at a time. There is communal food cupboard as well as a guest cupboard with a naming system in place. The fridge provides enough room for all guests to keep food cold and fresh. The kitchen offers full facilities for guests, including stove and oven. All pots, plates, and kitchenware are available for guest use also. The kitchen joins with bench seat and table for food preparation or dining. Outside the kitchen is an outdoor area where guests can hang out or dine. At night, guests are able to use the outdoor terrace for drinks and nibbles before it closes at 10 p.m. This is not a loud space; it's great for meeting people or relaxing.

• DIRECTIONS FROM THE MAIN BUS STATION AND FROM PORT OF DUBROVNIK 'GRUŽ':
• From the main bus station or from port of Dubrovnik you can take a local bus 1a or 1b to Pile gate (main entrance to old town), price is 2 euro you can buy the bus ticket at Kiosk or with the bus driver. Also - you can take taxi and Uber to Pile gate (main entrance to old town), taxi is about 10 eur while Uber is about 7 eur.
• Once you arrive to Pile gate, go inside the old town. You will see the big main street called Stradun or Placa. Walk down the main street to the very end (till the clock tower). When you reach the clock tower (at the end of Stradun main street) turn to your right and walk till you face the big church with a Dome (Dubrovnik's Cathedral) at the end of the side street on your right (if you were facing the clock tower).
• Once you reach the Cathedral - turn to your right, there is a square named Bunićeva poljana, we are at number 2 (big green door), in between Micro cafe bar and Pub Dubrovnik.
• From Pile gate you can also follow our video directions by clicking the link below and in 4 minutes you will reach our reception at Bunićeva poljana 2, located next to Dubrovnik's Cathedral.

• DIRECTIONS FROM THE AIRPORT:
• From the airport you can arrange our pick up (40 eur per car, email us your flight details), you can take taxi (40-50 eur) or you can take public shuttle bus.
• In case you are taking the public shuttle bus from the airport - it costs 9 EUR. (platanus.hr)
• Shuttle buses drop you off at Ploče gate (east entrance to old town)
• From Ploče gate bus stop - you can walk to the hostel reception (4-5min).
• Walk in the old city at Ploče gate (east entrance), on your left you will see the old port. Walk all the way down the street until you reach the Old town's main street called Placa or Stradun.Once you are at the main street, turn immediately to your left and you will see a big cathedral with a dome.
• Walk till you reach the Cathedral.
• Our reception is located to the right side of the Cathedral - square called : Bunićeva poljana 2, we are located in between Cafe bar Micro and Pub Dubrovnik.
