Bundaberg Auberge de Jeunesses   "A lovely little hostel with a really homely feel to it - more like going to stay with a relative. When we ran to book 2dorm beds and they found out we were a couple, they made it so we had a dorm to ourselves for our stay, which was a really nice touch.
The people who run it are really nice and really make an effort to get to know all of their guests. Free breakfast, free tea and coffee,...  "The Dingo Blue Backpackers is a working hostel. If you see this hostel for the first time you could think "oh no, I don't want to stay here," but after a while you would like it. The hostel is very simple, not so fancy like others in town -- but that is what makes the hostel so special.
The Location
Bundaberg is known as a harvest town, ideal for backpackers. The hostel is right in town... "I stayed at East Bundy back in June 2005 when it was still being renovated which meant cold showers, cramped sleeping condition, general chaos -- and i loved every minute of it! The owners, Robbie and Rohan were as crazy as they come but were the best fun, regularly coming out drinking with us all.
