The ground floor being on half floor, most of the rooms are half on the basement but still get day light. The five rooms downstairs are named after continents so you can be sleeping in Asia, Africa, or Australia.
There are several bathrooms all over the building. They have a nice and well equipped kitchen even if it is sometimes small for the twenty-two guests. Despite having been converted from a two-storey home, the building and property have been arranged to optimize sleeping and living space. Both dorm-style and private accommodations are available inside the house, with additional private rooms available in a pair of small cabins in the back yard.

"I stayed at this hostel in 2001. I would not recommend it. It did not feel safe, and was not clean. It also is not used by many people. You check in at a liquor store, with no staff on premises during the night. There are some lodgers who also use the common areas. I would not stay here again."
